OSAGE CITY – Helen Maxine (Bostrom) Thompson, 92, of Osage City, passed away Dec. 12, 2013. She was born in Scranton, Kan., to Eskel A. and Agnes E. (Johnson) Bostrom.
Helen married Thomas E. Thompson, of Osage City, in 1950.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years; a daughter, Patricia (David) Cavanaugh; a grandson, Ryan (Stephanie) Cavanaugh; a granddaughter, Megan Gregory, and great-granddaughter, Madison Gregory, all of Topeka, and a stepbrother, Harold Carlson, San Jacinto City, Calif.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Clarence Bostrom, and an infant son, Edward Jay Thompson.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, at the First United Methodist Church in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.
