Plenty to do at senior center during January’s cold winter days

There are several big events at Osage County Senior Center in January, including the Biscuits & Gravy Extravaganza on Jan. 9, community blood drive Jan. 16, Quarter Mania on Jan. 18, senior commodities distribution on Jan. 21, and the nutrition site’s bean soup feed at 5 p.m. Jan. 23.

  • Thursday, Jan. 2 – Art and painting (no instructor) 9 a.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 3 – Bingo 10 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 6 – Sewing 8 a.m.; armchair exercise 11 a.m.; cribbage 12:15 p.m.; play pitch & eat 5:15 p.m., cards begin at 5:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 7 – Ceramics 9 a.m.; Mexican Train games 1 p.m.
