I agree 100%, what about people who do not use computer's or cell phone? I do but take care of other's whom do not.
My Mother grew up in Melvern . . her name was Iva Trapp . . she talked about a bar in Quenemo that she frequented growing up . . that I visited it once, it had seats around the perimeter and maybe a stage . . . . I went thru last year and it was torn down . . WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE BAR ?
Thank you … Jimmy Clayton

This year the city of Burlingame will be putting up an angel tree at city hall as a way for everyone to remember someone special during the holiday season. Angel ornaments are $5 each, with the proceeds going to local adopted families. People can purchase as many angel ornaments as they would like until Dec. 14, 2020.
In addition to the angel ornaments, the city will also be assisting adopted families from the Burlingame area through ECKAN (East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corporation). The Christmas tree at city hall will have tags on the tree with the adopted families’ Christmas wishes. Anyone who would like to help with the adopted families’ wishes, is asked to do the following before Dec. 14: Choose your ornament from the tree located at city hall starting Friday, Nov. 20. Hand the ornament to Amy, Anne or Patty, who will record your name and phone number along with the number on the ornament. Go purchase a gift and return to city hall by Dec. 14 with the ornament from the tree.
Donors can either wrap the gift or bring it back unwrapped, but are asked to bring the tag back with the gift. Once gift and tag are returned, donors will be given two angel ornaments, to either write the names of the loved ones on or their name for being the giving angel.
Anyone who would not want to purchase the gift or an angel ornament, but still would like to help, can leave a monetary gift with city staff. Monetary gifts along with the money from the memory angels will be used to purchase items on the adopted families’ wish list for Christmas.
For more information, contact Burlingame City Hall at 785-654-2414.

About my hole in one. It was on the par 3, 151 yard 4th hole at Lamont Hill golf course. I made the shot with a 8 iron and went on to shoot 37 for the 9 holes.
